Amadudu understand that many people including our
service users and staff will be feeling anxious and
uneasy due to the recent events across the country. We
have been shocked and horrified by recent events, which have
included violent attacks on some of our communities as well as
others up and down the country and putting measures in place
to keep our services safe.
Hate crime is a criminal offence and we will not tolerate it in
our communities. If you experience or witness any hate crime
or incident, please report it to the police by calling 999 in an
emergency or 101 in a non-emergency situation. Or contact the
independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555
111.
If, for any reason, you do not wish to report a hate crime to the
police, the independent charity Stop Hate UK runs a 24/7
confidential helpline for all victims of hate crime on 0800 138
1625 or https://www.stophateuk.org/.
We will continue to work with local partners and Merseyside
Police to support you and ensure you feel safe where you live,
taking legal action where necessary.
